About Armada
What skiing will become.
In the early 2000s, a new generation of skiers, inspired by skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding, reimagined the sport. Five pioneering skiers—JP Auclair, Tanner Hall, JF Cusson, Julien Regnier, and Boyd Easley—teamed up with photographer Chris O’Connell and videographer Eric Iberg to create Armada, a brand that embodied this revolution. Founded in 2002 from a basement in Truckee, California, Armada has grown and evolved with skiing, moving its headquarters to Park City, Utah. Armada remains committed to supporting pioneering athletes and building innovative products that redefine the sport.
That same mindset now carries into Armada Snowboards. Built by lifelong, obsessive snowboarders, Armada’s snowboard division was created not to add noise, but to add something meaningful for modern riders who see creativity in every slope, side hit, and natural feature. From board engineers with decades of experience to artists, photographers, and shop-floor veterans shaping the brand, every product is designed with freestyle at its core—wherever it happens, not just in the park. Every board is tested, refined, and approved by the people who actually ride them, ensuring that what makes it to the snow is gear the team trusts on their own days out. Armada Snowboards exist for the same reason Armada Skis were born: to support progression, creativity, and the riders who live it every day.
