Ski Pro is a specialty-sports retail company with a focus on action-sports, apparel, retail, rental, and repair. Above all, our most important product is our customer service. It is our goal to keep our customers enthused about the sports they love, keep them performing their sport safely and to the best of their ability, keep them physically comfortable, and to provide for them an enjoyable, exciting, convenient and stress free experience. We hire only friendly, knowledgeable salespersons and technicians who are thoroughly trained both by our company and by manufacturers. Ski Pro has three physical locations in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area and one in Reno, Nevada. Each of our stores is tightly connected, but maintains an individual "Mom and Pop" vibe. Whichever store you decide to be a part of, the entire Ski Pro family will welcome you.

RETAIL CLOTHING ASSOCIATE

Retail and Clothing Associates (AKA Softgoods) are the primary customer service personnel during the winter months. Retail associates must have an understanding of the clothing, layers and accessories needed to enjoy a day on the slopes. They should be able to communicate the technical aspects of any brand to a customer. Other job responsibilities include stocking, organizing, cleaning, receiving and processing incoming products.

Requirements: excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, attention to detail and selfmotivated are necessary for this position. Experience with merchandising and apparel sales a plus.

RENTAL TECHNICIAN

Rental Technicians excel in efficiency and communication. Responsibilities include fitting snowboards and skis for advanced or beginner riders, providing demo recommendations, setting up and calibrating ski bindings, fitting boots, and communicating to customer thei responsibilities and safety information. Other responsibilities include organizing, cleaning, and cashiering as needed.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Able to work as a team player, have attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, and attention to detail is essential. Computer skills, boot fitting, and ski and snowboard sizing knowledge are beneficial.

SHIPPING & WEB SALES

Web Sales Associates are responsible for the day-to-day fulfillment of orders from our online sales channels. This includes picking, packing, and tracking shipments, calling customers, sending confirmation emails, and managing inventory on our website. Web Sales Associates must be highly organized and have excellent time management skills.

Requirements: intermediate to advanced computer skills, the ability to work in high-stress and fast-paced environment. Experience with Shopify is a plus.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Warehouse Associates are primarily responsible for receiving and processing all incoming product. Job functions include, but are not limited to unboxing product, creating receiving vouchers, tagging items, and distributing items to the appropriate stores. Warehouse associates will work closely with on-the-road crew and store managment.

Requirements: Organization Skills, Basic computer and data entry skills, the ability to work in high-stress and fast-paced environment are a must. Lifting, standing, sitting, or kneeling for long periods may be required.

CASHIER

Cashiers are primarily to assist the customer with the purchase of merchandise. This includes generating the receipt, receiving and verifying payment through our Point of Sale system along with bagging the merchandise. Additionally, cashiers will answer the phone, screen calls for departments and be able to be of general assistance.

Requirements: computer literacy, basic mathematical skills, ability to work in a high-stress environments, must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Ski Sales & Bootfitting

Ski Sales Associates and Boot fitters are primarily responsible for outfitting customers with the proper gear for their ability level and riding style. On the job, Ski Sales Associates will develop a strong working knowledge of technique and physiology in order to ensure proper fit and modifications.

Other responsibilities include stocking items, organizing equipment, safely working with high-heat machinery and tools, answering customer questions, processing incoming merchandise, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of their department.

Requirements: Customer service experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to think critically, problem-solving skills, a passion for skiing, and excellent product knowledge. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs. Experience in boot fitting or shoe sales is a plus.

Snowboard Sales

Snowboard Sales Associates are responsible for outfitting snowboarders with the right gear for their riding style and ability level. Snowboard Sales Associates need to have working product knowledge and be able to explain any technical aspect of a snowboard to a customer in a concise but relatable manner. They are responsible for properly sizing boards, boots, and bindings.

Other responsibilities include stocking items, organizing equipment, working with hand tools, answering customer questions, processing incoming merchandise, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of their department.

Requirements: Customer service experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to think critically, problem solving skills, a passion for snowboarding and excellent product knowledge. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs. Experience in boot fitting or shoe sales a plus.

Swim Sales Specialist

Swim Sales Specialists are responsible for outfitting customers with competitive swim apparel including sizing technical racing suits, recommending goggles, practice suits, accessories, and other gear required for athletes to train and compete at high levels. Swim Sales Specialists are also responsible for day-to-day operations in the swim department including contacting customers, stocking, preparing online orders, and managing inventory. Swim sales associates may also be required to travel and work at events away from their home store.

Requirements: Attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills are a must. Excellent customer service skills, problem-solving skills, and time management are essential. Experience as a competitive swimmer or coach a plus.

Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the store. Duties include overseeing and training all personnel, hiring, onboarding, opening and closing duties, ensuring the safety of the staff and customers, and working directly with customers to resolve problems. The Assistant Manager also works directly with the Manager, Buyers, Owners, and other key stakeholders to generate sales and product reports, as well as lead their teams to fulfill sales goals.

Requirements: Experience with managing and supervising staff, handling money, and excellent customer service are essential. Must have three years of experience in retail, preferably in outdoor rec or sporting goods industries. Needs be able to remain level-headed while under pressure, and be able to communicate effectively.
