Service Policies
Do you take reservations for services?
No, we operate on a strict first-in, first-out basis to ensure fairness for all customers.
When do I pay for services?
Payment is due at pickup along with any necessary liability forms and waivers.
Are turnaround times guaranteed?
No, all quoted timeframes are estimates and may vary significantly during peak ski season based on demand and service complexity.
Can I get rush service?
Yes, we offer priority "Rush" service with an additional surcharge that moves your equipment to the front of the queue.
What if you find additional damage during service?
We'll contact you for approval before performing any additional work beyond the original quote. In some cases, we may need to stop work if equipment is deemed unsafe.
Service Limitations
Do you service all types of bindings?
No, we cannot service non-indemnified bindings. Only bindings with current manufacturer indemnification are eligible for mounting, adjustment, and calibration services.
Is Custom Tune Up available at all locations?
Level of customization varies by location. Call ahead to discuss your specific needs and confirm availability.
Do you work on vintage or older equipment?
We assess older equipment on a case-by-case basis. Some vintage bindings and skis may not be serviceable due to safety and liability concerns.
What if my equipment is deemed unsafe?
We reserve the right to refuse service on equipment with structural damage or safety concerns that cannot be adequately repaired.
Do you service cross country or mountaineering skis?
We do not service cross country skis. For mountaineering equipment, proper knowledge and maintenance is critical to user safety in extreme environments. Due to the life-safety nature of mountaineering gear, we cannot provide services for specialized equipment that we are not experts in. While we're happy to answer general questions, mountaineering users must be fully responsible for understanding and servicing their own equipment.
What to Bring
What do I need for binding mounting?
You must bring one boot (either left or right), your skis, and bindings to ensure proper fit and safety settings.
Do I need to clean my equipment first?
Just remove excess mud or debris so we can properly assess your equipment.
Can I supply my own wax?
We use professional-grade wax systems optimized for our equipment. For specific wax requests, please discuss with our technicians during drop-off.
