Avalanche Sale Consignment Guide

Ski Pro's Reno Avalanche Sale is just around the corner and we want your used equipment! Whether you are looking to upgrade or just clear out your storage closet, your used gear is still valuable. Get some of your money back and give new life to your equipment during our Avalanche Sale this October 16th - October 18th at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center, Hall 1A/B.


STEPS FOR SELLING YOUR GEAR:

  • Drop off and check in your gear at our Ski Pro location on the SW corner of Virginia St. and Neil St. and Ski Pro employees will take care of the rest. Drop off date starts September 30, 2026. Final drop off date is Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
  • No more than 10 items per customer.


PICKING UP YOUR UNSOLD GEAR OR RECEIVING PAYMENT:

  • Return to our Ski Pro location in Reno to pick up any unsold items or receive your payment.
    Gear not picked up by 5pm, November 1st, 2026 will be donated.

If your item sells, you will receive 100% in store credit, or payment via check or credit on your credit card valued at 75% of the sold amount. The credit is given to the person who checked the gear in. Card and cardholder must be present, name on card must match name on check-in paperwork.


WHAT CAN I SELL AT THE RENO AVALANCHE SALE?

You can sell the following items:
  • Skis, with or without bindings
  • Snowboards, with or without bindings
  • Ski Boots
  • Snowboard Boots

WHAT'S THE CATCH?

There isn't one!
Ski Pro will put your stuff on display for thousands of shoppers to see with no fees or risk to you. If your gear does not sell, we simply offer it back to you.
All equipment must be in good condition and meet current industry standards. We can not guarantee that your items will be sold during the event.
Please note: we DO NOT accept any clothing (including jackets, pants, base layers, etc.), helmets, hats, beanies, ski poles, travel bags, luggage, roof racks, or mounts.
All ski bindings must be indemnified by their respective manufacturer to qualify for swap. Contact Ski Pro if you are unsure.
