Looking Forward To The Natural Selection 2024 Selkirk Tangiers
The Natural Selection 2024 event took place in Revelstoke, BC, Canada, featuring the world's best all-mountain freestyle snowboarders.
Riders competed head-to-head in heats, with each having two runs to impress judges with creativity, risk, execution, difficulty, and overall performance. The best all-mountain freestyle riders in the world will come together at a magnificent backcountry zone in the Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing tenure in Revelstoke, BC, Canada. Mens
Torstein Horgmo defeated Mark McMorris with a clean second run featuring a huge backside 720.
Sage Kotsenburg beat Dustin Craven with a big backside 360 off the lower mountain’s backcountry cliff.
Austen Sweetin advanced over Ben Ferguson with two clean runs, including a Cab 540 and a huge drop off a cliff.
Mikey Ciccarelli progressed past Blake Paul with a huge Cab 540.
Jared Elston advanced with two consistent 80-point runs over Chris Rasman.
Nils Mindnich defeated Mikkel Bang with a switch back 720 to Cab 540.
Torgeir Bergrem sealed his spot with a Method-tweaked backflip followed by a gigantic drop.
Travis Rice progressed over Red Gerard with some impressive runs, including barreling through the pillows.
Womens
In the women's event, Hailey Langland secured the win over Zoi Sadowski-Synnott with a solid first run featuring a Stalefish, Backside 360, and a tasty drop.
Marion Haerty defeated Robyn Van Gyn with a strong second outing, pairing freestyle tricks with an aggressive line through uncharted territory.
Jamie Anderson beat Elena Hight with a smooth, stylish second run that had plenty of flow.
Mary Rand secured the final spot in the women’s semi-finals with a huge backflip, defeating Hana Beaman who had some wipeouts and lacked consistency.
