Description

The Jones Ultralight Project X Snowboard utilizes Koroyd and carbon to create a lightweight, freestyle-oriented all-mountain ripper. Its tapered shape provides excellent float in powder, and a mid-stiff flex with a soft spot in the middle makes this board feel great whether you're shredding hard or just playing around in the park.

  • Directional Rocker: Hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern with more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings for float, maneuverability, edge hold, and response.
  • Directional Flex Pattern: Flex rating of 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) with Forever Flex technology to stabilize the board's flex and rocker profile over its lifetime.
  • 10mm Taper: Tapered shape sinks the tail in powder for better float and quicker turns.
  • 3D Contour Base 3.0: Freeride focused 3D-base contours with 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 7mm in the tail for smoother turn initiation and exit.
  • Blunt Nose: Enhances glide in powder and other soft snow conditions without the extra swing weight of a traditional rounded tip.
  • Fusion Core: Lightest wood core yet, made from mostly paulownia with specifically positioned pockets of poplar for improved durability and response.
  • Koroyd® Core: Advanced damping core material from the aerospace industry, absorbing vibrations and adding response at a fraction of the weight.
  • Fusion Carbon Construction: Cutting-edge board lay-up process that reduces weight and improves durability by combining board materials in two stages.
  • Carbon Stringers: Add torsional stiffness for improved response and increased pop, keeping flex profile dimensionally stable for a consistent ride.
  • Ultra Base: Exclusive base material with 25% better wax absorption, better glide in warm/wet snow, and better durability for grinding.
  • Recycled Edges: All boards built with 100% recycled edges from 2010 to 2024.
  • Ultralight ECO-Topsheet: Super damp, durable, and lightweight topsheet material made from organic plant material.
  • Additional Features: Bio-based Super Sap epoxy resin, factory detuned tips and tails, WEND natural wax, 2x4 binding insert pattern.

The Takeaway: The Jones Ultralight Project X Snowboard is perfect for advanced to expert riders seeking a lightweight, high-performance board that excels in both freestyle and all-mountain conditions.
