Product Description

The Atomic Backland 107 Skis are our go-to solution for mid-winter touring, with enough width and HRZN Tech tips to keep you floating on the deep days and enough guts underfoot to let you relax on steep and icy terrain. An Ultra Light Woodcore construction with Carbon Backbone keeps the weight down to an impressive 1550g in the 182cm size, so you're not dragging extra weight up the skintrack and using up valuable energy.

Features

  • Rocker Type: Powder Rocker – 20% Tip Rocker / 70% Camber / 10% Tail Rocker
  • Shape: Directional Shape
  • HRZN Tech Tip – HRZN Tech adds 10% more surface area at your ski tips. For awesome flotation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop.
  • Core: Ultra Light Woodcore – The combination of caruba and poplar wood makes this core ultra light, for skis that are all about low weight.
  • Laminates: Carbon Backbone – An ultra-lightweight carbon insert that runs the length of the ski like a stabilizing backbone.
  • Fiberglass – Continuous fiberglass layers create a ski that is smooth and stable while remaining lightweight and dynamic.
  • Sidewalls: Dura Cap Sidewall – Sidewall from base to topsheet for controlled power transmission and great edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dura Cap is a fantastic durability feature as it picks up fewer dents and dings.
  • Graphics: Glossy Topsheet
  • Binding Compatibility: We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
