Description

The Jones Ultracraft Snowboard - 2022 is a high-performance alternative freeride board that carves piste and rips pow like a race board.

Featuring the same shape as the Hovercraft, but built with premium materials, the Ultracraft has no top speed when railing a turn in smooth snow. The rocker nose delivers epic float in powder, while the stubby, stiff tail and long sidecut offer powerful board control at high speeds. The 3D Contour Base 3.0 features spooned nose and tail edges for improved float and turn fluidity. The Ultracraft also features the Ultra Core for lightweight pop and Basalt Power Stringers for supreme torsional response, reduced board chatter, and improved sustainability. New for 21/22, the Ultracraft is built with a super damp Ash Veneer topsheet.

  • Directional Rocker: Hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern with a rocker nose for float and a stiff tail for powerful control.
  • 3D Contour Base 3.0: Spoon bevel in the nose and tail for improved float and smoother turns.
  • Ultra Core: Dual-density premium wood core made of mostly paulownia with specially positioned poplar stringers for better durability and turn power.
  • Sintered 9900 Base: Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon for an ultra-fast and easy-to-repair base.
  • Basalt Power Stringers: 100% natural fibers that transfer power to the edges, improve torsional response, and absorb board chatter.
  • Ash Veneer Topsheet: Super damp, durable, and lightweight topsheet material made from ash wood for added responsiveness.
  • Triax Fiberglass: Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate for a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions.
  • Bio Resin: Bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon for a more sustainable construction.
  • Recycled ABS Sidewalls: Made from recycled plastic to improve sustainability.
  • Oversized Recycled Edges: Made from recycled steel for added durability and improved production sustainability.
  • Factory Tuned: De-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go straight from the shop to the mountain.
  • Forever Flex: Manufacturing process that stabilizes the flex and rocker profile of the board for its lifetime.
  • Wend Natural Wax: Ready to shred straight out of the shop with factory waxed WEND natural wax.

The Takeaway: The Jones Ultracraft Snowboard is perfect for expert freeriders looking for a high-performance board that excels in carving and powder with superior durability and responsiveness.
