Product Description

The Jones Storm Chaser Snowboard is built for those epic powder days, featuring a snappy bamboo core, distinctive swallowtail design, and full Surf Rocker profile refined by surf shaper Chris Christenson.

  • Christenson Surf Rocker: Custom tip/tail rocker profile designed by Chris Christenson. The nose rocker starts just inside the front inserts, and the tail rocker starts just at the back inserts for insane float on the deepest days.
  • Directional Flex Pattern: Flex rating of 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) with Forever Flex technology to stabilize the board's flex and rocker profile over its lifetime.
  • 3D Contour Base 3.0: Freeride focused 3D-base contours with 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 7mm in the tail for smoother turn initiation and exit.
  • FSC™ Bamboo Surf Core: Re-designed triple density wood core featuring primarily paulownia stringers with bamboo stringers positioned in the pocket of the sidecut for better edge response and turn power.
  • Sustainable Flax/Basalt Stringers: Composite flax and basalt stringer helps transfer power to the edges, improves torsional response, and absorbs board chatter.
  • Sintered 8000 Base: Durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene and carbon for superior performance.
  • Traction Tech 1.0: Serrated edges add multiple contact points along the running length of the board for improved edge grip.
  • Eco-Plastic Topsheet: Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans, offering ultralight, chip/scratch resistance, and water/snow repellent properties.
  • Additional Features: Bio-based Super Sap epoxy resin, factory detuned tips and tails, WEND natural wax, 2x4 binding insert pattern, and oversized recycled steel edges.
