The Foundation is one of our most popular styles and on-mountain favorites; featuring clean crisp design lines patterned for a great fit and ease of movement. We take functionality to heart and strive to meet the demands of passionate skiers like us. The Foundation offers everything needed for an easy day on the mountain; this includes interior electronics and goggle pocket, powder skirt for extra warmth and protection, and a 15,000mm waterproof 15,000mm breathable stretch fabric to keep you warm and dry.

HydroBlock® Pro

Obermeyer independently third party tests all of its technical fabrics for performance verification. Our high performance specialty fabrics use fully coated hydrophobic laminations and a superior DWR polymer coating for stain protection and coating integrity. HydroBlock® Pro resists up to 15,000mm before water penetration while allowing 15,000 grams of water vapor to pass through within a 24-hour time frame.

CZV™- Control Zone Ventilation: Thermal Regulation Venting

Obermeyer’s CZV™- Control Zone Ventilation builds upon several of our other technologies such as waterproof breathable fabrics and seam sealing construction to bring about another level of breathability and comfort to your athletic experience.

Outdoor winter activities often require an extreme amount of cardio in cold temperatures. With this is mind, at Obermeyer we recognize just how important it is to keep you comfortable, dry and warm by moving air around your body to evacuate unwanted moisture and heat.

Interior windguards

Interior windguards ensure that the elements do not penetrate the closed zipper teeth and send a chill to your chest. Obermeyer has learned that when the weather is nasty and a fully zipped up front zipper is tucked under your chin, there's nothing better than the top of the windguard having fleece to minimize abrasion on your chin, especially in cold weather.
